Pie Crust

Ingredients: – 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, chilled and cubed

– 1 teaspoon salt – 1 teaspoon granulated sugar – 6-8 tablespoons ice water

Instructions: 1. Combine flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl. 2. Cut in chilled butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3. Gradually add ice water, mixing until dough just comes together. 4. Divide dough in half, shape into disks, and wrap in plastic wrap.

5. Chill dough in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. 6. Roll out dough on a floured surface to desired size.
