Peppermint Ganache Pie 

Ingredients: For the crust: – 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (you can use chocolate graham crackers or chocolate sandwich cookies) – 1/4 cup granulated sugar

– 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted For the ganache filling: – 1 cup heavy cream – 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped – 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. In a bowl, mix together the chocolate cookie crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.

1. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, then remove and let it cool completely. 2. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat.

Place the chopped semisweet chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 1-2 minutes. Then, stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

1. Stir in the peppermint extract until well combined. 2. Pour the peppermint ganache into the cooled crust and smooth the top with a spatula. 3. Place the pie in the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours, or until the ganache is set.

1. Before serving, garnish the pie with whipped cream and crushed peppermint candies or candy canes. 2. Slice and enjoy your delicious peppermint ganache pie!
